Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)

The personal information being processed by Deepixel will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented in accordance with Article 18 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」.

1. Manage and reply to website inquiries and partnership proposals

   Personal information is used for the purpose of answering and replying to service inquiries and partnership proposals through the website.

Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)

1. Deepixel uses and retains personal information within the period of retention and use of personal information in accordance with laws and regulations or the period of retention and use of personal information agreed upon when collecting personal information from User.

2. The processing and retention period of personal information is as follows.

   1. Deepixel retains information related to inquiry and partnership proposal for 6 months after review and reply.
   • If an investigation is in progress due to a violation of relevant laws and regulations, the personal information is retained until the investigation is completed.
   • It is retained until the relevant bond/debt relationship due to the use of the website is settled.
   • It is retained until 〈retention period〉 in case of 〈exception reason〉.

Article 3 (Provision and Entrustment of Personal Information)

1. Deepixel entrusts personal information operation to the following company

2. In accordance with Article 26 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, Deepixel agrees on the supervision of the entrusted company’s handling personal information and the responsibilities such as prohibition of processing of personal information other than the purpose of performing entrusted work, technical and administrative sentencing measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the entrusted company, and compensation for damages, etc.

3. Deepixel announces any change on the entrusted company or operation through this Privacy Policy without delay.

Article 4 (Rights and Duties of User and Legal Representative)

1. User can exercise the right to view, correct, delete personal information and suspend processing of personal information at any time.

2. User can exercise the rights under Paragraph 1 in writing, by phone, or by e-mail. Deepixel will take action without delay as per the request of User.

3. The rights under Paragraph 1 can be exercised through the legal representative of User or an agent such as a person who has been delegated. In this case, User should submit the power of attorney in the form of Attachment No. 11 of the “Personal Information Processing Method Notice (No. 2020-7)”.

4. The rights of the User may be restricted in accordance with Article 35 (4) and Article 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act to view personal information and suspend processing of personal information.

5. The request for correction and deletion of personal information can be refused if the personal information is specified as collecting subject in other laws.

6. Deepixel checks the identity of User or its legal representative requesting to view, correct, delete personal information, or suspend processing of personal information according to the rights of User.

Article 5 (Personal information to be processed)

Deepixel manages the following personal information.

1. Website inquiry and partnership proposal

   • Required: name, email
   • Optional: phone number, company or shopping mall site address

2. The following personal information items may be automatically created and collected in using the Internet service.

   • IP address, cookie, MAC address, service use record, visit record, error record, etc.

Article 6 (Destruction of personal information)

1. Deepixel destroys the personal information without delay when the personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period or achievement of the purpose of processing.

2. Although the personal information retention period agreed upon by User has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved, the personal information can be preserved by storing to a separate database (DB) or re-locating a storage in accordance with the request by other laws and regulations.

3. Procedures and methods of personal information destruction are as follows.

   1. Procedure

      Deepixel selects the personal information for which the reason for destruction occurred, and destroys the personal information with the approval of Chief Privacy Officer.

   2. Method

      Deepixel destroys personal information recorded and stored in electronic documents by using a method such as Low Level Format so that the record cannot be reproduced. And personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is shredded or incinerated.

Article 7 (Action taken to protect personal information)

Deepixel makes every effort to secure personal information as below.

1. Administrative actions: establishment and implementation of internal privacy management plan and, regular employee training, etc.

2. Technical actions: access control of personal information and installation of security program and encryption of identification.

3. Physical actions: access control of server center and document achieve.

Article 8 (Cookie policy)

1. Deepixel uses cookies to personalize content and to provide User with individually customized services.

2. Cookies are small blocks of data created by a web server while a user is browsing a website and placed on the user's computer or other device by the user’s web browser.

   1. Cookies serve useful and sometimes essential functions on the web. They are commonly used by web servers to authenticate that a user is logged in, to identify secure access etc. for optimized user experience.

   2. User can block or delete cookies at Setting in browser.

   3. If User blocks cookies, it may cause discomfort to use customized services in website.

Article 9 (Chief Privacy Officer)

1. Deepixel has designated a person in charge of personal information protection to handle inquiries regarding personal information and complaints from User.

2. User can make inquiries on personal information protection regarding complaint handling, damage remedy, and etc. Deepixel will manage the inquiries of the User without delay.

Article 10 (Request to access personal information)

User may request for access to personal information according to Article 35 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 to the following departments. Deepixel will make every effort to promptly process the request of User.

Article 11 (Remedies for Infringement of Rights)

User may apply for help or consultation to the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (‘KOPICO’) or the Korea Internet & Security Agency (‘KISA’) Personal Information Infringement Report Center to receive relief from infringement of the personal information. In addition, please contact the following organizations for reporting and consultation of other infringement of the personal information.

Article 12 (Amendment of Privacy Policy)

This privacy policy is effective from December 14, 2021.
